Media & Communication

The Department of Media and Communication is a vibrant, internationally oriented department within the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication. In addition to two Dutch-language Master’s programmes in Media Studies, the Department offers four international degree programmes: the International Bachelor’s programme in Communication and Media (IBCoM), two international Master’s programmes in Media Studies (Media & Business and Media, Culture & Society) and the Research master’s in the Sociology of Culture, Media and the Arts. The Department is closely linked to the Erasmus Research Centre for Media, Communication and Culture (ERMeCC), which serves as the main base for researchers in Media, Communication and Culture at Erasmus University.
