Admission and Application
International Bachelor Communication and Media
The IBCoM programme welcomes applications from candidates who meet the entry requirements and whose intellectual ability, education, international background and personal motivation will both benefit from, and contribute to, the programme.
The IBCoM programme has a selective admissions procedure that aims to create a multicultural classroom by accepting high-calibre candidates from a variety of countries with a strong record of academic achievement. Up to 200 students can be admitted to the programme. Your chances of being selected will increase if you have:
- An international background
- Strong international ambition and motivation (to be demonstrated by a personal motivation letter)
- A good academic track record (to be demonstrated by a diploma or an end-of-year report)
All applications for IBCoM start in Studielink, which is the Dutch registration system for higher education. Once you have completed all the necessary steps in Studielink, you will be asked (by email) to continue on to the EUR Application Portal, in which you should upload your documents and keep track of your application. Do not forget to upload all required documents on time, so we can take your application into consideration.
Depending on the type of diploma you have obtained or will obtain, different documents need to be handed in. Please choose which one applies to you and follow the instructions on that page:
- Admission with a Dutch VWO diploma
- Admission with a non-Dutch diploma
- Admission with a Dutch HBO diploma or propedeuse
The application deadline for the academic year of 2015-2016 is May 1, 2015. Your documents need to be uploaded by then. Applications arriving after the 1st of May cannot and will not be taken into consideration.
