Admission and Application
The IBCoM programme welcomes applications from candidates who meet the entry requirements and whose intellectual ability, education, international background and personal motivation will both benefit from, and contribute to, the programme.
The IBCoM programme has a selective admissions procedure that aims to create a multicultural classroom by accepting high-calibre candidates from a variety of countries with a strong record of academic achievement. Up to 150 students can be admitted to the programme. Your chances of being selected will increase if you have:
- An international background
- Strong international ambition and motivation (to be demonstrated by a personal motivation letter)
- A good academic track record (to be demonstrated by a diploma or an end-of-year report)
If you meet the entry requirements, we welcome your application! There are different procedures to apply, depending on the type of diploma you have obtained or will obtain. Please choose which one applies to you and follow the instructions on that page:
- Admission with a Dutch diploma
- Admission with a non-Dutch diploma
- Admission with a Dutch HBO diploma or propedeuse
Following these instructions should result in a complete and ready to submit application with your particular diploma. Do not forget to attach all of the required documents to your application, because we cannot process incomplete applications.
The application deadline for the academic year of 2013-2014 was May 15, 2013. Your documents needed to be at the university by then. Applications arriving after the 15th of May will not be taken into consideration. We welcome your application as from 1 November 2013 onward.
When you register, Studielink will ask you whether you want to participate in the decentralized selection. It is very important that you indicate that you want to partake in the decentralized selection. If you do not, we will not be allowed to invite you to the programme.
