Teaching

 

In the IBCoM program, Jeroen Jansz is the coordinator of BA-1, the first year's program.

He is the principal lecturer of the Theoretical Core Course 1: Introduction to Human Communication (block 1). He also lectures in Key Concepts in Social Science (BA-1) and Communication Ethics (BA-3).

He is the supervisor of the BA thesis class (BA-3) on online creativity.

In the International MA Media, Culture & Society and in the Dutch language MA Media & Cultuur he teaches the seminar Production and Use of New Media.In addition he supervises MA theses in both programmes as well as in the Research MA SCMA.

 

At the University of Amsterdam, he taught MA courses about media reception with an emphasis on Internet users and players of digital entertainment games. He also taught the BA course philosophy of social sciences.
