Research in History, Culture and Communication
Researchers of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication conduct research in the fields of history, arts and culture, and media and communication. The research is thematically linked to the different chairs, and themes surpassing the boundaries of these chairs. A large part of the research is joined in several interdisciplinary centres.
Researchers of the future
Training of researchers in the fields of history, arts and culture at the EUR is organised within the context of the Erasmus Graduate School of Social Sciences and the Humanities (PhD-level), and in the research master’s programme Sociology of Culture, Media and the Arts (MA-level).
Moreover, national research schools offer PhD-training, and in some cases training for Research Master’s students, targeted at researchers conducting research within a specific discipline.
