Research in History, Culture and Communication

Researchers of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication conduct research and offer research training in the fields of history, arts and culture, and media and communication. The research is thematically linked to the different chairs, and themes surpassing the boundaries of these chairs. A large part of the research is joined in several interdisciplinary centres.

Training of researchers at the EUR is organized within the context of the Graduate School (PhD-level), and in the various research master’s programmes (MA-level). Moreover, national research schools offer PhD-training, and in some cases training for Research Master’s students, targeted at researchers conducting research within a specific discipline.
