Robert Cartwright, MA
Robert Cartwright is a Lecturer in the Department of Media & Communication at Erasmus University.
He obtained his research masters in persuasive communications at the University of Amsterdam. During this time he published his first research paper while writing his thesis on advertising and materialism. His field of focus is advertising—specifically product placement, and embedded advertising. His research looks into the effectiveness of product placement on adolescents and young adults using quantitative methods.
Prior to moving to the Netherlands, Robert lived in Canada where he worked in the field of communications consulting.
