Media, Culture & Society
Master Media Studies
Information and culture have become more and more abundant in contemporary society, reaching us through well-known mass media, such as newspapers and television but also through new media applications such as the Internet and computer games.
The omnipresence of media in society has led to a growing demand for academically trained media experts, who have a firm grasp of, and who can respond to complex problems and changes in the media sector, as well as to media-related issues in society at large.
The Media, Culture & Society programme aims to turn out such experts. It is specifically intended for internationally oriented bachelors in the social sciences or the humanities who aim for a career in the media or cultural industries or who wish to work as policy makers or media experts in government and other organisations.
